Council Member Biography

Elka Popova is the Program Director of the Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) group at Frost & Sullivan. She is a widely recognized as an expert in IP communications and enterprise solutions with her primary expertise being in voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) services and unified communications. She has authored studies on hosted IP telephony and VoIP access/trunking services, unified communications (UC) applications, unified messaging (UM) solutions, VoWLAN devices, enterprise telephony headsets, and other communication product and services markets. As the Director of the UCC group, Ms. Popova's role is to closely monitor developments in various enterprise and IP solution markets and oversee Frost & Sullivan's coverage of these markets. She interacts with clients on a regular basis in order to evaluate their needs for market information and works with other analysts to provide clients with targeted and timely market analysis and strategic recommendations.
