Elliot Goodman, MD, is Chief of Bariatric Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. His main clinical interest is bariatric surgery. His research interests include the role of cytokines in the link between obesity and diabetes and the development of new modalities of treatment for cardiovascular disease in obese patients.
