Mr. Francesco Beraldi

Council Member Biography

Francesco Beraldi is an independent consultant in the EPC services field. He currently holds a long-term contract with KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root), a firm providing EPC services to the oil & gas, petrochemical and power generation industry. Prior to becoming an independent contractor in April 2011, he held a full-time position with KBR as a Commissioning, Start-up, and Operations Manager. Mr. Beraldi has been involved, as Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Manager, in the Chevron Gorgon Project, being responsible for the modularization of the overall facility. He has been involved, as a Project Integration Manager, in the Shell Pearl GTL Project: biggest Shell Project of ever. Previously, Mr. Beraldi has worked in Commissioning Project Management for Bechtel and Technip. He specializes in refinery, LNG, and gas to liquids technology. He worked as Pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up Manager of ORYX GTL (a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Sasol). Mr. Beraldi is an expert of hazardous operability (HAZOP); he has worked in various countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Europe, China, UAE, Korea and Australia.
