Mr. Gabriel Kow

Council Member Biography

Gabriel Kow is the Principal of Carlton & Partners, where he consults with private equity firms on M&A in the process/chemical and life sciences sectors. With Mr. Kow's experiences in Asia Pacific, particularly China, he assists companies in setting up businesses in China and in turning around poor performing foreign-owned Chinese businesses. Prior to Carlton & Partners, he was the President of Huntsman's Surface Sciences division. Mr. Kow's previous positions included Head of Albright & Wilson, MD of GlaxoWellcome in Greater China, and Singapore. He has accomplished 14 turnarounds in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. In the last three years, Mr. Kow has been involved in the solar sector including a position as a Chairman of Jetion Holdings, a China based solar panel manufacturer listed in UK.
