Mr. Gary Richards

Council Member Biography

Gary Richards is Head of Purchasing at Westcoast Asset Management, a consumer electronics asset recovery specialist, working with major retailers and manufacturers in developing solutions for their reverse logistics issues, and supplying a broad range of electrical products to regional and national retailer.Mr. Richards has more than 27 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry and has considerable expertise in retail strategy. He was most recently Business Development Director with Wallgate Services, a reverse logistics service provider. Previously he was Managing Director of Philex, a supplier of AV accessories to major retailers. From 1987-2004 he was Head of Merchandising at Comet where he was responsible for product merchandising as well as store and visual planning, overseeing new store roll-outs and re imaging. He was also involved in management projects, developing pan-European strategic change projects concerning new store formats and product strategy. (This is me - Update Profile)
