Geoff Bailey is the President of The Bailey Company an Arby's Franchisee, where he has worked since October 1987. The Bailey Company owns and operates 57 Arby's restaurants in Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho. Mr. Bailey has been the President of this 42 year old, second generation family business for 23 years. He has served on the Arby's Franchise Association board for 15 years, serving as the Chairman of the Board for five years and was an Emeritus member for two years. Mr. Bailey is on the board of Good Times Burgers and Frozen Custard, GTIM NASDAQ, a fast food restaurant company. He was also the Chairman of the GTIM board for seven years. McDonald's is an engine hitting on all cylinders. It doesn't seem to matter what the competition is doing, what the economy is doing, or what the consumer is doing.McDonald's is the industry leader. As well as being ubiquitous, it is the best marketer, has the most efficient model, has the biggest advertising budget, is the most innovative, and covers the broadest swatch of demographics.In a contracting market, McDonald's has held on to market share by introducing full-priced premium burgers, set up McCafe Coffee bars, set up free wii-fi, brought out snack wraps, marketed to children, repositioned their industry-leading breakfast program, and engineered a value menu in the dollar price range, all the while improving quality of their products.
