George Lee is currently Principal at Beyondbond, a leading financial solutions provider for the fixed income markets. From July 2006 - February 2008, he was Managing Director of Capital Markets at Capmark Finance, where he managed pricing and distribution of proprietary lending products in all lending jurisdictions, including CMBS securitizations, loan syndications, and B-Note and mezzanine loan placements in the US, Canada, Europe, and Japan. Mr. Lee spearheaded strategic growth initiatives in whole loan trading, small balance lending, new product development, and an up to $5B AAA CMBS/CMBX Investment Platform for Capmark Bank. From April 1998 - July 2006, he was Managing Director of Capital Markets for GE Capital Real Estate. In that role, he was responsible for daily management of the Securitization and Trading Group, including loan pricing, hedging, position management, trading, and securitization execution of GE Conduit and Large Loan programs encompassing 35 US deals collectively worth $21.6B. Mr. Lee evaluated purchases, sales, and merchant banking opportunities related to B-pieces, subordinate, and mezzanine tranches, as well as commercial whole loan portfolios and acquisitions of financial institutions within GE’s $70B global position. He has also worked as Vice President of Structured Finance at Goldman Sachs and as Assistant Director of Fixed Income Research at Moody’s Pricing Service. (This is me - Update Profile)
