Gerhard Meissner is a Partner at taskforce, a Germany based interim and project management company. Mr. Meissner is an internationally experienced and goal-oriented IT Manager focusing on general management, program & project management and IT outsourcing; strongly oriented toward practical application with distinctive expertise in finding solutions. He gained 40 years of experience as a professional, manager and consultant in the IT industry. In his role at taskforce Mr. Meissner has gained IT consulting experience in industries such as system integration, telecommunications, insurance, financial services, consumer goods and technology. He successfully worked for companies such as Montell, rkd, debis Systemhaus, O2 Germany, SV SparkassenVersicherung, Deutsche Leasing, Douglas Holding, Siemens and T-Systems. Projects Mr. Meissner worked on had focuses on IT outsourcing, IT controlling (KPI, BSC), IT governance (COBIT), SLA management, restructuring and establishment in an IT environment, crisis and turn-around management, M&A and integration management. Previously he was the Managing Director of LOG2000 GmbH, the logistics service provider for Computer 2000 AG and its subsidiaries in Europe. Earlier he was a Director of Organization and Data Processing at Bayerngas, an IT-Consultant at Roland Berger & Partner and a Director of Organization and Programming at AGROB.
