Council Member Biography

Hal Breedlove, OD, is the Owner and Clinical Director of Coastal Vision, a five Optometrist practice in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk Virginia. In practice for over 26 years, he has expertise in a many areas of vision research, patient care, practice management, and optical (contact lenses, frames and ophthalmic lenses). His specialties include eye medical care, contact lenses, lens and frame dispensing, vision anomalies, vision therapy, orthokeratology and sports vision. His interests include consulting and training for national and international law enforcement agencies. He is also the Past Chair of the Sports Vision Section of the American Optometric Association.
