Mr. Hiroshi Hayase

Council Member Biography

Hiroshi Hayase is Director of Small/Medium Displays for DisplaySearch. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the LCD industry, with a professional background that includes sales and marketing management, production and product engineering, as well as market research and analysis. Prior to joining DisplaySearch, Hiroshi worked with Wintek Japan Corporation as marketing manager, where he was also responsible for sales and Japan market research for this Taiwanese LCD panel/module manufacturer. Prior to that, he was sales manager with Applied Komatsu Technology (AKT) where he was responsible for sales of CVD systems to major Japanese panel producers. Previously, Hiroshi held positions in sales management and production engineering with Seiko Epson, where he was involved in design engineering and the full range of LCD production processes, working there for over 13 years. Throughout his career, he has been associated with a wide array of FPD applications, including consumer electronics, telecommunications, and car electronics – in Asia and North America. Hiroshi graduated from Shizuoka University with a degree in mechanical engineering. (This is me - Update Profile)
