Council Member Biography

Jack Melton, OD, FAAO, is the President of Omni Eye Center - Laser Vision in Oklahoma City, OK. He is recognized nationally for his expertise in the field of contact lenses and laser vision corrections. Dr. Melton has served as a professional consultant for a number of contact lens and laser vision centers and is knowledgeable in both industries. He has lectured extensively and is a co-author of the textbook Rx for Success. He has served as the president of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, Central Oklahoma Optometric Association, and Heart of America Contact Lens and Anterior Segment Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a founding member of the Society of Contact Lens Specialists. Dr. Jack Melton has been chosen twice as his profession's "Best and Brightest" and is the recipient of the Heart of America's "Optometrist of the Year" award.
