Jacob Larsen is Senior Vice President of Network Strategy and Business Transformation at TDC, the Danish incumbent carrier. Mr. Larsen is responsible for setting the strategic direction for TDC's Nordic wireline and wireless network. His responsibilities also include all types of approval for new technologies and vendors. He is responsible for major outsourcing projects and interfacing with vendors including Ericsson, Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei, Nortel, Broadsoft and Nokia. Previously, Mr. Larsen was 12 years at Alcatel-Lucent, where he was Vice President of Global Operations and Business Transformation. Post-merger, he consolidated Alcatel's and Lucent's activities in broadband access, optical networking, routing, wireless (CDMA, GSM, 3G UMTS, WiMax, and LTE) and NG networking. Furthermore, he oversaw the consolidation of the EMS and logistics activities as well as the supplier base. Mr. Larsen joined Lucent in 1997 after earning his MBA from the Amos Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College. (This is me - Update Profile)
