Mr. James Cercone

Council Member Biography

James Cercone is the Founder and President of Sanigest Internacional, since July 1998, a health services management and consultancy company with oversight of hospital, primary care, and HMO services management with offices in Miami, Costa Rica, and Eastern Europe. He has 15 years of experience in health services management, health economics, health insurance, health reform, and social security reform in over 40 countries around the world. Additionally, Mr. Cercone has experience in the design and management of health policy, health finance, and health insurance reforms as an advisor to governments in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the FSU. He has interest in direct involvement in the launch of several private sector health-related companies, including a chain of clinics, a dialysis center, and a chain of pharmacies and several hospitals. Mr. Cercone is also a board member of the Latin America Association of Managed Care Plans (ALAMI). (This is me - Update Profile)
