Council Member Biography

Jeffrey Christian is Managing Director of Christian, Podleska and Vanmusschenbroek, Ltd. (CPM Group), a precious metals research and consulting company. Mr. Christian is a worldwide authority on gold, copper, silver and the platinum group metals, in addition to foreign exchange markets and other commodities. He has been involved in the application of derivative markets and financial engineering to the commodities markets. Mr. Christian has consulted for governments and intergovernmental organizations, including the United Nations, The World Bank Group, International Finance Corporation and International Monetary Fund, as well as many large industrial companies, investment banks, hedge funds and institutional investors. He has worked extensively on issues related to the financial management of commodities and has developed numerous programs for controlling the financial risk of precious metals and commodities.
