Council Member Biography

Jeffrey E. Everett, MD, is Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery and Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Previously, he was Director of Heart Transplantation, Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery, and Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Everett has expertise in adult cardiac surgery, including coronary bypass surgery, mitral valve repair and replacement, stentless aortic valves, minimally invasive cardiac surgery including robotics, aortic aneurysm repair, atrial arrhythmia surgery, and heart transplantation or LVAD. His basic science research includes heart and lung transplantation. (This is me - Update Profile)
