Mr. Jeffrey Murphy

Council Member Biography

Jeffrey Murphy is the Managing Partner of the New York office at SNR Denton US LLP, where he represents investment banks, hedge funds and finance companies in the financing, purchase, servicing and securitization of mortgage loans and other financial assets, including repurchase agreements, asset purchase and servicing agreements, pooling agreements, indentures, joint ventures and related transactions. His recent experience includes creating structures for transactions involving the sale of loan servicing portfolios of up to $17 billion, developing documents for the sale and servicing of loans in the U.S. and crossborder secondary markets, developing whole loan master repurchase, option and warehousing and other loan agreements, and representing the U.S. Department of Treasury in various matters relating to 2008-2009 events affecting the U.S. automotive industry. He graduated from Dartmouth College, magna cum laude, and received his JD from Fordham University School of Law. (This is me - Update Profile)
