Council Member Biography

Joe Eberhardt is the Chief Executive Officer of Live Technology, a technology company that provides SAAS marketing automation platform, where he has been since July 2010. Mr. Eberhardt has been a member of Live Technology's advisory board since 2008. Mr. Eberhardt was the Owner of Oxnard MB LLC which operates Mercedes-Benz/smart of Oxnard in Southern California. He also advises multiple companies with a focus on strategy development and alternative drive trains (hybrid, electrical) development and application. From 2003 to 2007, he was EVP of Global Sales, Marketing & Service at Chrysler. Mr. Eberhardt had responsibility for the operation in over 125 countries with more than 5,500 dealers. He generated revenues in excess of $60B, delivering 12 consecutive profitable quarters and continuous market share growth. He has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of DaimlerChrysler UK, from 1999 to 2003. He managed one of the largest Mercedes Benz dealerships in the United States from 1993-94. He has worked with Daimler-Benz in 1985 and held several other senior roles including, VP of Marketing for Mercedes-Benz NA and VP of Product Management and Development for Daimler-Benz AG.
