John Donaldson is President of Donaldson's Volkswagen-Subaru, a $50M new car franchise dealership in Long Island, which he has operated since 1986. They sell and lease an average of 2,300 new and used (80% new, 20% used) vehicles per year and run a parts and service division. Mr. Donaldson's family has owned numerous dealerships since 1955, including Volkswagen, Porsche, Suzuki, Sterling, Peugeot, Audi, and Subaru. He is familiar with all aspects of dealership operations, new and used retail market conditions, wholesale market conditions, automotive regulations, and franchisor-franchisee relationships. He has spoken on the automotive industry in several locations, including Adelphi University. (This is me - Update Profile)
