Jonathan Miller is a Co-Founder and President/CEO of Miller Samuel, one of the largest residential property appraisers and consultants in Manhattan. Miller Samuel has provided individual property valuations of more than $5,000,000,000 in the past year and has engaged in consulting work for an array of financial institutions for various residential development efforts. Jonathan authors a series of residential market studies on the New York region with an annual distribution of more than 1,000,000 copies used by the Federal Reserve, IRS, NYC OMB, HUD and local, national and international media to understand local housing trends. He is a real estate prognosticator, appearing frequently on television to discuss national housing market issues on programs for CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg, ABC, Fox and others.
Jonathan has performed extensive assignments concerning mortgage origination, relocation, divorce, foreclosure, bankruptcy, asset valuation, share allocation, common area valuation, trust and estate matters and has been admitted as an expert witness in six different court venues on federal, state and local levels. Jonathan has served on advisory panels for the Employee Relocation Council, Fannie Mae and Trulia.com. He is a member of the Mayor's Economic Advisory Panel for the New York City Office of Management and Budget and is a member of the New York City Council Finance Committee Economic Advisory Board.
