JongHyun (Johney) Kim is a CEO and Co-founder of Global TechLink ASIA with Mr.Andrew Duncan, CEO of Global Techlink, since January 2006. Global Techlink specializes in multi-media, digital convergence device and application technology on a global basis, including Interactive TV, Digital streaming, and Consumer Electronics. Prior to that, Mr. Kim worked as a Senior Marketing & Product Planning Manager in Consumer Electronics at SamSung Electronics from 1989 to 2005. His responsibilities included market research, product development, technology outsourcing, sales channel development, business management and marketing for CE products such as VCR, STB, DVD, DVD-Rec and Home server. He also has a deep understanding and outlook for digital mobile convergence devices such as MP3, PMP, DMB, DSC and Camcorder etc. Mr. Kim also co-worked for many technology-oriented company, MPEG chip vendors and Venture Company in Silicon Valley San Jose for global product development roles and technology outsourcing.
