Joseph Byrne is a Senior Analyst with The Linley Group. His coverage includes wireline and wireless communications semiconductors, such as network processors for network access systems (e.g., cellular infrastructure and DSLAMs), DSL ICs, PON ICs, cellular baseband processors, mobile TV chips, and embedded microprocessors. Previously he was an analyst with Gartner, where he rotated through roles focusing on semis for networking, computing, wireless LAN, digital cameras, and embedded microprocessors.
