Karl Schultz is a Director at Energy Edge, a UK-based energy sector consultancy. Mr. Schultz has been in the environmental protection field for his entire career and since 1994 has worked to promote coal mine methane as an approach to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. He worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Protection Division, managing its domestic and international coal mine methane initiatives for over ten years. Karl is a long-standing member of the International Coal Mine Methane Professional Community and has been involved in numerous industry initiatives as a consultant, committee member, and author. Karl is a leader in the field of climate change and emissions markets.
