Council Member Biography

Kathrin Nothaft is the Owner and CEO of TELEBiLD, a German TV broadcaster and cable consultancy and has been acting as the Managing Director of two family owned cable companies in Germany and Austria. She has over 20 years of experience in the consultancy industry. She joined TELEBiLD as Project Manager, Marketing in 1990 and became Managing Director in 1998. Ms. Nothaft works with over 115 clients in Germany, including: SES/Astra, Discovery Communications, RTL, ProSiebenSat1, VOX, VIVA, ZDF, Turner Broadcasting, QVC Germany, Premiere World, MDR, Landesmedienanstalten, Eutelsat, Deutsche Welle, Axel Springer Verlag, CNN and many more. TELEBiILD was formed in 1983 and has its main focus on developing the cable, satellite, terrestrial, DSL and mobile market in Germany, increasing program distribution and affiliate sales, end user marketing and developing business plans and distribution strategies for commercial TV and radio channels and media regulators in Germany.
