Council Member Biography

Kenneth Morris is Senior Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer at Duke University Health System (DUHS). Reporting to the President and CEO, Mr. Morris is responsible for all financial functions within DUHS. He provides leadership and oversight on all financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, managed care contracting, real estate, patient revenue management (registration, billing, and collection), insurance, and debt management. In addition, Mr. Morris is Senior Administrative Officer within DUHS and advises the President and Board of Directors on all strategic matters. He has over 25 years of experience in healthcare financial management, with particular expertise in both academic medical center-based and large non-academic tertiary provider systems.
