Mr. Kevin Easton

Council Member Biography

Kevin Easton is an independent consultant, since October 2011. Mr. Easton is a senior level executive with over 30 years of experience in both retail and wholesale. Previously, he was the VP of Retail Development at Clarcor Air Filtration, from June 2010 to October 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Easton was the President of JES Apparel, an apparel design and sourcing company working with large US retailers in developing private label apparel. Before that, he was in the retail industry for over 27 years with the last 10 years at Officer level merchandising roles. Earlier, Mr. Easton has worked with Dollar General, where he was responsible for sourcing and purchasing for soft-lines and home. Prior to that, Mr. Easton was an Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Shopko Stores and was accountable for buying, planning and replenishment, trend and product development, presentation and marketing. Before that, he worked at Target for 12 years as the Vice President and Merchandise Manager of Men's and with Federated-Macys Department Stores, where Mr. Easton held various buying and merchandising positions for nine years.
