Council Member Biography

Kristen Neller Verderame is CEO of Pondera International, assisting start-up technology companies in a variety of legal and business areas, including as interim executive. She is also the Principal and General Counsel at The Laconia Group. Ms. Verderame has over 15 years experience driving transformational processes and business growth, and managing government and public affairs on an international scale. Most recently, Ms. Verderame served as Interim CEO of a start-up technology company, where she helped to develop the firm's business plan, software development roadmap, corporate governance, and to secure additional angel funding to get the company to the next stage of development. Ms. Verderame spent the bulk of her professional career in a variety of roles within BT (British Telecom) Group, most recently as Vice President and General Counsel for the company’s US operations, where she was a leading member of the management team that drove 150% revenue growth, US$25B in acquisitions, and produced SG&A savings of over US$85.
