Council Member Biography
Mr. Nagle provides consulting services in the flooring industry. He has been in the industry over 50 years. He introduced the first private flooring sale that today could represent over 30% of all flooring promotions. He introduced laminates (Pergo) as a flooring product in 1993, and the first Bio-Fresh carpet in 1984. Mr. Nagle has provided consultancy or services to DuPont, Invista, Beaulieu, Dixie, Mohawk, Pergo, Shaw Ind., Mannington, Abbey, CCA Global, World Floor Covering Association, Hanley-Wood, Honeywell, McGraw-Hill, Goldman-Sachs and GE Capital. He has served as Chairman of the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) and now serves as Vice-Chairman. Mr. Nagle has also been on the board and executive committee of the Carpet and Rug Institute. In 2005 he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in the flooring industry sponsored by the Floor Covering Industry Foundation and the WFCA. Mr. Nagle was also inducted in to the World Floor Covering Association Hall of Fame in 1994. (This is me - Update Profile)
