Lawrence Tena, MD, is Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the New York Medical College, Associate Adjust Professor at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and Radiation Oncologist at Lenox Hill. He owns two free-standing radiation oncology centers and is Former Radiation Oncologist at the Beth Israel Comprehensive Cancer Center, since June 2010. Dr. Tena is a board certified radiation oncologist specializing in brain, eye, head and neck, lung, gynecological, gastrointestinal and prostate cancers. He has clinical expertise in volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), cranial and body stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), high dose rate (HDR), low dose rate (LDR), and brachytherapy. Dr. Tena has published in several medical journals and has lectured internationally. He has also worked as an engineer for Varian and Philips Medical Systems. (This is me - Update Profile)
