Linley Gwennap is Principal Analyst at The Linley Group Inc., a technology analysis firm specializing in communication silicon chips. He is also editorial director of Microprocessor Report, an award-winning newsletter for the semiconductor industry. After more than 20 years in the semiconductor industry, he currently focuses on processors for wireless handsets and communication infrastructures. He has published many articles and several book-length reports on these topics, and he is frequently quoted in the technical and business press. Mr. Gwennap is knowledgeable in wireless and wired communications products from AppliedMicro, Broadcom, Cavium, Freescale, Intel, LSI, PMC-Sierra, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments.
