Council Member Biography

Louis Rocco is the System Director of Purchasing at Hallmark Health System, in Massachusetts. He has over 27 years of experience in purchasing and has negotiation, analytical, reporting and communication skills in inventory, distribution, purchasing, mailroom, reimbursement and accounts payable background. Mr. Rocco has implemented EDI system change from a standalone to a GHX system. He managed the merger conversion among four hospitals from downsizing staffing, inventories and into a computerized system for materials management. Mr. Rocco worked on merger consolidation and reconfiguration in financial cost-cutting programs with many consultant firms in reducing cost and labor in materials, as well as having assessments done for materials department compared to other facilities of it throughout the US. He has also been the recipient of National Award with VHA for leadership in Operational Excellence and Supply Chain Management. (This is me - Update Profile)

Mail order drugs flying off shelves | www.gazette.com

I could not agree more that people should have a choice and maybe the pricing markey is the US will finally drop after how it see it will work all pharmacies across the country. The manufacturers need to be held responsible for this issue, they caused it with raising prices and making more of a profit. They should join in with the oil industry these two make a good pair on how to rep off the consumer.
