Dr. Luciano Bueno

Council Member Biography

Dr. Luciano Bueno is a Senior Consultant specializing in Brazilian federal, state, and local government policies in the area of public safety and sport. Before coming to Portal Commerce & Logistics, Luciano worked in the private sector for such companies as Unibanco, Banco Bamerindus, Volkswagen-Brasil, and Hidroservice Engenharia. As a consultant and academic researcher, Luciano has directed and participated in studies and projects on behalf of clients in the public and private sectors including, the United Nations Development Program-UNDP, National Secretary of Public Safety, Municipal Secretary of Public Management in São Paulo City, Fundação SEADE, Instituto Sou da Paz and recently for IDEC - Brazilian Institute for Consumer Defense. Dr. Bueno is a Professor at the Fundação do Desenvolvimento Administrativo-Fundap in São Paulo. He has published articles and participated in international conferences of gun control, public safety and programs to reduce violence. (This is me - Update Profile)
