Council Member Biography

Marc West is Chief Executive Officer of iForem, which focuses on protecting the digital privacy of individuals, businesses and government agencies. Prior to iForem, he was Managing Director of Global eBusiness for iShares ETFs (a unit of Barclays). Mr. West served as the Group President of Commercial Markets at H&R Block, an accounting and auditing firm. He was also Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at H&R Block; and Senior Vice President/ Chief Information Officer at Electronic Arts, a developer and distributor of interactive and online entertainment. Mr. West has over 32 years of technology and business leadership experience in ERP, financial and trading systems, online and global business delivery, Sarbanes/ Oxley, global manufacturing and distribution, games software development, and global CRM and order management processes. He is knowledgeable in many technology areas (retail, high volume and emerging trends) with a deep, clear understanding of how to create strong P&L results by innovative approaches.
