Council Member Biography

Mark Eble is VP in charge of the Midwest office of PKF Consulting, an international firm of management consultants, industry specialists, and appraisers who provide a full range of services to the hospitality, real estate, and tourism industries. He brings more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience in both a consulting and hands-on operational capacity. Previously, Mr. Eble was a Regional VP with Cendant's Resort Condominiums International. There he was responsible for major account management and business development, including Cendant's $650M acquisition of Fairfield Communities in 2001. Prior to Cendant, he led the NYC hospitality consulting practice of Coopers & Lybrand LLP. Before that, he was EVP of Eric B. Orkin Associates, providing yield management consulting and technology solutions to major hotel companies around the world. Mr. Eble also served as a Principal with Laventhol & Horwath in Chicago where he focused on the hospitality industry. Mr. Eble has managed and conducted hundreds of consulting assignments, involving both the public and private sectors, throughout the U.S. and in Europe and Asia. He has worked for the industry's leading lenders, developers, chains, and management companies and has an in-depth knowledge of most aspects of hospitality operations, development, and financing.
