Mark Saunders most recently was General Counsel of WR Capital Management, and currently serves as a consultant to global financial institutions and hedge funds in connection with their merger arbitrage transactions. Previously, Mr. Saunders was a Senior Partner in the New York office of a law firm with over 1,000 lawyers, in which office he practiced for 19 years in the international, securities and securities litigation, corporate finance, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions areas. Mr. Saunders has negotiated transactions in over 20 countries around the world during the course of his career, and has represented clients in connection with merger and acquisition transactions of up to US$ 50 billion. Prior to entering private practice, he served as Counsel to the Corporate Finance Department and to the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Morgan Stanley. He is acknowledged, most recently, in the November 2010 edition of the Harvard Law Review. (This is me - Update Profile)
