Martin Fuss, MD, is Professor, Vice Chair, and Program Director of Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) in the Department of Radiation Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University, since August 2006. Previously, Dr. Fuss was Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has expertise in treatment of various disease sites including brain, GI tract, lung, and prostate. Dr. Fuss is an expert in the clinical adaptation of new technological developments in radiation oncology, notably intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), tomotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). He has clinical and research experience in proton radiation therapy (at Loma Linda, CA), as well as heavy ion (carbon) radiation therapy (at GSI, Darmstadt, Germany).
