Matt Simester is the Managing Director responsible for ACG's International Operations with a specific focus on the UK. ACG provides consulting with a particular focus on cards payments and consumer lending. ACG provides performance assessment and benchmarking services in Collections, Recoveries, Compliance and Customer Services. It has a growing focus on sub-prime and pay day loans. In addition ACG provides due diligence, expert witness and portfolio acquisition/disposal consulting. ACG also provides primary and secondary research into the UK lending markets. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Simester was an Executive at Barclaycard and led their prepaid cards strategy and also the Managing Director of a Barclaycard JV. UK Consumers More Welcoming of Credit Card Fees Than In The past

Given the recent regulatory and economic changes that have hit the credit card industry in the last 2 years, non interest income is becoming the holy grail for many card issuers. One of the key barriers to driving up fee income has been the perceived reaction from consumers. Recently published research from the Auriemma Consulting Group suggests that there is room for more aggressive strategies.
