Mehmet Oz, MD, is Professor of Surgery and Vice Chair of Surgery at Columbia University. He directs the Heart Institute at New York Presbyterian Medical Center. His research interests include heart replacement, atrial fibrillation, cardiopulmonary bypass and minimally invasive cardiac surgery. He has authored more than 400 original publications, book chapters and abstracts, and has received a patents on organ preservation and minimally invasive surgery and percutaneous valve technology (This is me - Update Profile)
