Michael Goldman is a Director at McLennan Magasanik Associates, an Australian firm focusing on energy, natural resources and environmental issues. Mr. Goldman has worked on a wide range of economic, technical, regulatory and market evaluations in the energy, environmental, pulp and paper, recycling and processing industries across Australia. He has done due diligence exercises for buyers of gas and electricity assets (complex issues, large sums of money involved), contract negotiations (direct long-term involvement, negotiating skills), reviews of electricity and gas demand forecasts for regulators (attempt to be even handed against partisan interests), market surveys and studies in esoteric areas (great variety), recycling economics (interesting culture) and environmental economics (innovative approaches).
