Council Member Biography

Michael Grossbard, MD, is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Chief of Hematology-Oncology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. His clinical research is in monoclonal antibodies, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, breast, gastrointestinal, and colon cancer. Dr. Grossbard has published extensively on the use of immunotherapy for treatment of cancer, and has consulted for companies such as Genentech, IDEC, Berlex, and Amgen.
