Michael Rowsey was the President of Contract Operation for Office Max from April 2000 to August 2007. Prior to this Mr. Rowsey was the Executive Vice President and on the Board of Directors for United Stationers, from 1995 to 1998, a wholesale distributor of business products. Previously, Mr. Rowsey was the President and CEO of Associated Stationers, from 1992 to 1995 which was created from a management buyout of the wholesale operations of BCOP. During this time, Mr. Rowsey took Associated Stationers through a successful IPO. In 1995, Associated Stationers and United Stationers merged into one company where Mr. Rowsey stayed on as the EVP and on the Board of Directors. Mr. Rowsey has over 28 years in the office supply industry and his experience includes most retail disciplines including strategic management, supply chain, sales and operation. Mr. Rowsey has a great perspective on the office supply industry from retail, wholesale and a contract perspective. (This is me - Update Profile)
