Mr. Michael Stein

Council Member Biography

Michael Stein serves on the Boards of Directors at AIMCO, a real estate investment trust and Providence Health & Services. Mr. Stein was also a Boards of Directors of Nautilus, a fitness equipment company. He has over 35 years of diverse experience in finance, accounting and management. Mr. Stein was Chief Financial Officer at ICOS Corporation, a biotechnology company. Prior to ICOS, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Nordstrom, the fashion specialty retailer and Chief Financial Officer of Marriott International, the global lodging and Hospitality Company. Prior to Marriott, Mr. Stein was a Partner with Arthur Andersen, Washington, DC. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Stein has held several other responsible positions including serving on the boards of directors at Getty Images and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
