Mickey Kalifa is Director of Corporate Development at Sportech PLC, one of the largest suppliers and operators of pools/tote* betting in the world, since 2009 and operates his own consulting firm, Arki. He is a leading authority on International online and offline gambling/betting markets, his role focuses on M&A in the UK, France, USA, India and other markets. Mickey has been in the betting/gaming industry since 2002 and as Managing Director of OpenTV, headed the UK's leading interactive TV betting service, PlayMonteCarlo and led its subsequent sale to Ladbrokes in 2005. Mickey is well experienced in dealing with gaming regulators/regulatory environments, evaluating new markets and business opportunities. Previously, Mickey was CEO of Fanbanta, an online football gaming portal and Director of Finance and Business Development at Liberty Global. Mickey has expertise in the consumer internet, new media and TV market and has held senior positions with BSkyB, Time Warner, Disney, Young and Rubicam. Mickey is a Chartered Accountant.
