Nazir Ahmad is President of GivingWorks Inc., where he provides strategic advice to a number of influential public service entities, including UNICEF, the World Bank, AARP, the Bipartisan Policy Center, and the Soros Foundations Network. Mr. Ahmad is also a Principal Consultant at Brand Value Advisors, a brand consultancy firm specializing in advising Private Equity, M&A, Hedge Funds and VCs on marketing issues in due diligence, monetizing new revenue streams, research, and marketing operational issues. He was formerly a Partner at Strategic Decisions Group, where he led the strategic marketing and innovation practice areas. Mr. Ahmad has participated in global corporate consulting assignments across several industries, including automotive, education, energy, financial services, forestry, communications, real estate, computers, distribution systems, and consumer products. Mr. Ahmad serves on advisory boards of the Decision Education Foundation and the Amherst College Center for Community Engagement. He is also an advisor to the Giving Circles Network and to the United Movement to End Child Soldiering. He holds a BA and MA from Amherst College and a MBA from Stanford University.
