Mr. Nicholas Krsnich

Council Member Biography

Nicholas Krsnich has 25 years of financial service experience concentrated in mortgage investment and risk management. Mr. Krsnich is President and Portfolio Manager of JMN Financial, which was formed in 2006 and has over $150 million in institutional funds under management and has consulted for some of the industry's premier financial institutions and private equity firms. Prior to JNM, he served as Chief Investment Officer of Countrywide Financial Corporation, President of Balboa Mortgage Reinsurance, and Board Member at Countrywide Bank, from 1995 to 2005. Mr. Krsnich's tenure at Countrywide is profiled in the June 29, 2009 issue of the New Yorker magazine. He was also Head of Capital Markets at Bank of America Mortgage. Mr. Krsnich authored Residential Mortgage Investment, Valuation and Risk Management published by the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. He has an MBA in Finance from the University of Florida.
