Mr. Patrick Beal

Council Member Biography

Patrick Beal is a senior executive in the food industry sector. He served as Vice President of USA Foodservice Operations at DPI Specialty Foods and President of their Midwest retail division from December 2010 through January 2012. Mr. Beal was responsible for company profitability, organizational effectiveness, staff development, business development and customer satisfaction for all of the companies he has been involved at. Previously, he was a General Manager at Labatt Foods New Mexico, from September 2008 to January 2010 and was retained to improve company profitability and to help find a suitable buyer for the company. Prior to this, he was in executive management at Sysco, from March 2006 to June 2007. Mr. Beal was the President of US Foodservice Portland, from 2003 through 2006. He also served as a President for Foodservices of America earlier in his career and has worked in most regions of the USA. Mr. Beal has a strong operational knowledge base of industry financial performance, sales organizations, customer segments, vendor relations and product category management. He has over 30 years experience in the foodservice space. Mr. Beal started his career in distribution with industry leader and Fortune 100 Sysco Corp in sales and general management.
