Mr. Paul Hipwell

Council Member Biography

Paul Hipwell is a Managing Consultant at Thewaterplace since April 1996. Mr. Hipwell is also a Senior Vice President at International eChem. He has a detailed understanding of the water sector, its regulation and operation from both a technical and commercial perspective. Thewaterplace provides marketing and business development consultancy to help its clients build their business in the UK water market. The services include business planning and development, energy and chemical cost reduction, market research, acquisitions, divestments, investment opportunities, due diligence in UK water and water treatment chemicals market. Mr. Hipwell's has expertise in water utilities, first and second tier suppliers, Ofwat, AMP5, PR09 and the water treatment chemicals market. Previously, he was a Marketing Director at Hydro International.
