Council Member Biography

Peter Morgan is a Partner in the Corporate Practice at SNR Denton LLP in New York. His areas of practice include leasing, lending, structured finance, private equity and fund formation. Peter represents insurers, underwriters, placement agents, investors, banks, issuers, borrowers, trustees, commercial paper conduits and liquidity banks in public and private securitizations, lease arrangements, senior secured transactions, second-lien financings, mezzanine financings and high-yield debt issuances.His representation in such transactions has involved a variety of assets, such as: Leases Loans Receivables (timeshare trade, credit card, structured settlement, lottery, healthcare and intellectual property receivables) and Equipment (including vehicles, railcars, aircraft and vessels). Peter's distressed debt and special opportunity practice includes representing borrowers, investment funds, investors and financial institutions in structuring private equity transactions and hedge funds and representing participants in workout negotiations and portfolio acquisitions or dispositions of assets.
