Peter Pfohl is Partner at Slover & Loftus LLP, a boutique firm located in Washington, DC, specializing in railroad transportation law. He actively participates in Surface Transportation Board proceedings, and in state and federal courts. Mr. Pfohl has been actively involved in railroad economic regulatory issues, and in railroad acquisition, abandonment, and related administrative/transactional work. He also has extensive experience in preemption and railroad/customer liability issues. Mr. Pfohl has been actively involved in railroad reform and antitrust legislation on Capitol Hill; he previously worked as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill covering transportation, energy, and other issues. Mr. Pfohl is the author of several published articles on transportation and administrative law. He received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and his J.D.(cum laude) from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, where he was a member of the Law Review.
