Richard Amistadi is the Principal of Amistadi Associates, a lead-acid battery market consultancy firm. Mr. Amistadi formed his consultancy firm after having more than 36 years of experience at The Doe Run Company where he was mainly involved in the global sales and marketing of lead metal to the lead-acid battery industry. Mr. Amistadi regularly forecasts both future lead metal and lead-acid battery demand at the Battery Council International (BCI) convention and identifies new opportunities for lead-acid battery growth. He was Chairman of the Advanced Lead-Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC) from 1992 through 2005 and continues to follow all types of battery development as it relates to Hybrid and Electric vehicles. Mr. Amistadi is also knowledgeable on lead acid battery recycling on a global basis and in 2012 become Chairman and President of the Association of Battery Recyclers. (This is me - Update Profile)
