Robert Cohen is the Founder and Managing General Partner of Alliance Benefits & Compensation, an employee benefits services firm in Washington, DC. Mr. Cohen has over 20 years of experience as a human resources and employee benefits professional in the mid-Atlantic region. He also serves on the board of directors of the HR TechNet, Network to Improve Community Health, CareFirst BCBS (advisory board) and Kaiser Permanente. Mr. Cohen has formerly served on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Business Group on Health, Aetna Advisory, Glaxo-SmithKline, Merck, and Schering-Plough Pharma Advisory Boards. He has expertise in the development, design, underwriting and marketing of various employee benefits plans including: HDHP's, HSA's & HRA's, HMO's, PPO's, POS, hybrids, PBM’s, self-insured and self-funded, dental, vision, capitation, fee-for-service, disability, life, EAP's, FSA's, international benefits, and long-term care.
